"When Sharon came along, it was one thing that I could see in his face, and I could tell by his actions. He'd really met the one and he was really happy...

Always put God first, your parents second, and trust that everything else will fall into it's place." A tearjerking speech from the father of the groom. Chris and Sharon sat at the newlywed table, looking out on all their friends and family. They both had tear-filled eyes, knowing that they love they share has brought everyone in their lives together.

Chris and Sharon had a beautiful, elegant day. You can be certain that these two are in love just by watching their actions, they way they look into each other's eyes. Chris is so tentative towards Sharon, and her eyes light up when she looks at him.

After the outlook of gloomy weather arose, we moved the ceremony up a few minutes. Which meant we all rushed to make this outdoor ceremony under the trees happen. Chris and Sharon shared a brief yet heartfelt first touch indoors.

Luckily, the ceremony withstood the rain! Clear skies all around, and we enjoyed a ceremony that truly connected these two love birds and families under the presence of God. The groom cried as his beautiful bride strolled down the aisle. The love was ever present, you could feel it in the air. Everyone shared quite a few laughs too, as Chris was quick to kiss the bride before the officiant gave the okay - that's a totally acceptable oops though!

The Colonnade gave us the most stunning backdrops for portraits of the wedding party, family, and newlyweds after the ceremony. My favorite is the large archway around the gate.

"Be our guest! Be our guest! Be our guest!

Get your worries off your chest..." started the reception. What do you know - these two are Disney fans!!! Something we had in common. I was dancing and snapping photos while a delicious dinner was served. Speeches, first dances, and love shared with all their guests made the reception so very special. Everyone had a great time celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Scott. With a sparkler exit ending everything, it was the perfect day.

I am so happy for the journey these two are going to begin as newlyweds and as parents. It was an honor to work with Sharon and Chris. Kind and thoughtful is an understatement to describe them both. They were sincere in their love for each other, but also in their thankfulness of everyone who helped make this day so special. I'll let the photos speak for themselves here! What an honor it was to capture this love story.
