Mr. and Mrs. Carter - Coming Soon!

It was an honest blessing working with this amazing, kindhearted couple for such a significant milestone in their lives. Within the first five minutes of working with these two it was clear that the future Mr. and Mrs. Carter are head over heels for each other! I knew that every single photo would display their love story in the happiest light. I am so happy they will celebrate the beginning of marriage on their wedding day next May.

Early morning sessions are the BEST! And engagement sessions are truly the best way to start off the day. I met Caleb and Jordan at Vintage Oaks Farm in Ramseur. It's an incredible venue for weddings, parties, showers, etc. This location resonates the ever-popular rustic feel, which is what our lovebirds are hoping to use for their wedding next year. In addition to the awesome location, we had a rain-free session - whoop whoop! Usually with each session, I pray for golden hour so we can catch that backlight in our images! It happened to be a cloudy Sunday morning, yet I was extremely thankful for it. The reason why - because Caleb and Jordan stand out so perfectly with this location and weather backdrop. The sunshine was definitely not needed for the couple to shine bright - they are clearly GLOWING!

Caleb and Jordan are so amazing to work with, and just to be around in general. Kind, outgoing, and fun are just a few of the words that come to mind when you meet such special people. We had an absolute blast working our way around the barn and talking about their plans for the future. They were up for any and every idea I threw their way, regardless of how crazy it may have sounded. They jumped right in with full force and we made so much magic in these images! In between the many requests I gave from behind the camera and all of our laughter, Caleb said "I love that this gives me an excuse to hold her more and more." Heart eyes, y'all. SO. SWEET! On a side note, the cows popped into our photos towards the end of our time, and we loved every moment of it.

As a people-centered photographer, I strive to capture as many intimate, candid poses as possible. I want others to look at my work and actually feel emotion through what they see. It is my hope that every client will look back on their special images for years to come and be able to relive the many emotions and milestones from that day. Caleb and Jordan, I hope you love these photos enough to completely cherish them at any given moment, even on your 25th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to you both, and thank you for giving me more reasons to find pure happiness in the work that I do! I am wishing you all the absolute best and more.
