If you need me, you can find me swooning over Mr. and Mrs. Shelton's big day instead of sweating in this Summer-like weather (even though it's Fall)
Forever starts today...
Elizabeth and Jeremy are SO down to earth, kind, and levelheaded. They were the calm everyone wants to see from every team member on a wedding day! They rolled with a few last minute changes and still enjoyed every moment of their wedding day.
When we had our first call, I learned that Elizabeth and Jeremy have such a solid relationship and they are the kind of people who radiate happy energy. These two met during COVID, and the rest is history! I was so excited when they booked for their Fall wedding at Covington Gardens in Pleasant Garden, NC. I immediately started to dream about how we could capture everything they desired most, seeing as this is also one of my favorite venues.
After arriving on the day of, we started details and getting ready shots to begin the day. The details... Elizabeth's veil, her floral shoes, the beautiful rings! I was in love with something that may seem so small but is actually so important. Elizabeth and her dad shared a first look in the courtyard area, followed by Elizabeth and Jeremy's first look as well. Both were very emotional and brought tears to everyone's eyes. There's something extra special about seeing your girl in a wedding gown... whether she is your baby girl or your future wife. And as always, I'm waiting in the sidelines to catch all the emotion I can.
After first looks, we continued photos so we could complete as many as possible before the ceremony. The ceremony took place in front of the peaceful pond and fountain at Covington Gardens, right before sunset which was SO magical. Everything went without a hitch, and let me just say... the couple's first kiss was the lowest dip I have ever seen!!! I almost melted into a puddle seeing it. And instead of the typical second kiss at the end of the aisle, Elizabeth and Jeremy opted for a little dancing twirl instead. It was precious!
For couple portraits we went wherever we could find the best lighting, which at the time was around the curved driveway between the trees and in front of the house and fountain. I almost don't have words for how beautiful these portraits are! Elizabeth and Jeremy were up for anything and they absolutely rocked these! The season, the romance between them both, their true love they share. I'm speechless.
I loved everyone's entrances for the reception, and the romance only continued for Elizabeth and Jeremy's first dance. After dinner, the maid of honor and best man also gave heartfelt speeches that pulled heart strings. We sealed the night with an intimate cake cutting between the Mr. and Mrs. The day flew by but was so, so good for the soul. So much happiness and love felt between an amazing group of people.
Thank you to Elizabeth and Jeremy for choosing me to be part of your day. I will always cherish this opportunity more than you know, and the ability to be in your lives is a treasure! Congratulations to you both and your absolutely beautiful family! You deserve it all!
