I just can't say enough good things about this wedding, Savannah + Trenton, or the amazing day we had...

Some of you may remember the engagement portrait session I had with Savannah and Trenton earlier in 2024 in Downtown Greensboro... if not, this is the blog link and I'm sharing a few photos below. This was the first time I really got to meet Savannah and Trenton, and it was genuinely on one of the coldest days of the year (weirdly in April)! Miraculously, you can't even tell how freezing the two were because they are literal STARS. So beyond comfortable with each other and the camera that I was convinced they walked out of a magazine the first time we met. Savannah and Trenton are so fun, and it's so easy to tell how in love they are. I could not wait to capture their wedding day, and it definitely got here so quickly!

On the Big Day...

After checking in with Savannah to make sure she was doing okay (and she was happily working on her stunning makeup!) I jumped straight into detail portraits! I loved the small details that they put thought into, and also the fun decorations around the venue as well. It was such a beautiful day, and actually a warm day for the beginning of November!

After taking photos of the groomsmen in front of the barn (and they were totally as chill as ever!), Savannah finished hair and makeup, and surprised her bridesmaids in a first look. Tears were definitely shed and I could tell that these girls truly love each other. We love a great girls team :)

Savannah and Trenton did not do a first look, but instead opted for an intimate first touch with each other where they also shared private vows. And I'll be honest with you... I was trying to hold back tears myself. It was one of the most heartfelt things I've witnessed! Trenton was completely speechless at first. It's so touching to see how the emotions of a wedding day can truly affect your heart and soul. The bride and groom exchanged gifts and vows before a "see you soon" and we all headed straight to the ceremony.

Savannah and Trenton were married in the corner of the field behind the barn, surrounded by so many loved ones who support their love. The processional was also one for the books, a recording I wish I had! The girls all did a cute spin upon entering, and the guys were actually the "flower men", throwing petals as they walked down the aisle. Trenton broke at the sight of his gorgeous bride walking down the aisle. When the groom is in real tears over his future wife, you know it's true love.

The unity portion of the ceremony: branding a hat together! This was a first for me at a wedding too and I absolutely loved it. After saying I do, and sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, everyone happily exited the ceremony! We jumped straight into all of our typical formals: family, wedding party, and husband and wife. What I loved about Savannah and Trenton's portraits is not only how easy it is seeing these two interact together, but also their photos in so many different spots in a short amount of time. We got extra creative - and you can't get married at a farm without photos with the cows. It's guaranteed, right?

Although I didn't stay for much of the reception, we were still able to capture all of their entrances, special dances, cake cutting, and exit. I love working with my couples to provide customizable packages that are a good fit for their personal needs, and that's exactly what we did. I absolutely loved their sparkler exit in front oof the barn and Savannah's custom denim jacket.

I can't believe how fast this day went by but also how unbelievably special it was. The bride and groom assured me it was the greatest day of their lives, everything they dreamed of. And that's the goal, right? :) Being in the wedding business, we want our couples to experience the day that they've always envisioned and dream of. And it's even easier to accomplish when you have an amazing vendor team, so thank you to everyone who joined in this special day!

Savannah and Trenton, thank you for bringing me on this journey with you. Your trust in my work and ability to serve you best means the world to me. It's been the best experience and I absolutely cannot wait to follow you on your future life endeavors. You are both absolutely wonderful! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Taylor!!!
